Located 10 km from Angoulême (TGV) in a protected countryside, this marvellous 15th 16th and 18th century lodge has kept all the past centuries flavour. It reached us almost intact with all its inside decorative features: pisé floors, terracotta floors, old parquet floors, walls cotted with lime, stone staircase with string wall, vaulted rooms, pretty fireplaces...

This house comprises:  a ground floor (vaulted entrance, vaulted dining room that used to be a kitchen with its pisé floor and its wall cupboards, kitchen and scullery, large and smaller living rooms with parquet floors and fireplace), a first floor (appartment composed of a living room, a small kitchen, two bedrooms a bathroom and lavatory plus three other bedrooms awith bathroom and lavatory) plus   convertible attic.

It is all in a general good condition but there is no general heating (It is actually heated by several wood stoves and electrical heaters on the first floor).
Guest house in one of the pavilions with living room, dining room, two bedrooms, bathroom and lavatory. In the other pavilion: garage for two cars and former laundry room.

A two-room caretaker’s house with bathroom and lavatory, independant entrance and garage.
Barn used as workshop, woodshed and shed.

Beautiful terrace garden, very pretty iron cast gate, nice woods (26 ha) planted with oak trees, pines, wild cherry trees, ashes and chestnuts, meadow with old fountain all in 28 ha 06 a 40 ca.

There you will feel an exceptional preserved old family house atmosphere. It remained in the same family for almost 200 years.
